Not seeing your listing appear in search results? No worries, the cause is usually easy to find and fix. Below, we go through the possible statuses a listing can have and the most common reasons it isn't visible (yet), along with a handy checklist to get it live.
The statuses of a listing
A listing moves through several stages:
- Draft: you're still filling in your listing; it hasn't been submitted yet.
- In verification: your listing has been submitted, but is waiting on approval of your identity verification.
- Published: your listing is live and visible to visitors in search results.
- Paused: you've temporarily stopped your listing yourself; it's not visible, but your remaining time is preserved.
- Expired: your listing's or plan's term has ended.
- Removed: your listing has been permanently taken down.
Only a published listing is visible to visitors.
The most common reasons
1. Your identity isn't verified yet
This is the most common reason. Your listing can only be published once your identity verification has been approved. Haven't uploaded your selfie and passport/ID yet, or still waiting on a response? Check out Identity verification for more on that process.
2. Your listing is still in draft or in verification
Haven't fully completed the 5-step wizard yet? Then your listing stays in draft. Is it fully filled in, but you're still waiting on your identity verification? Then you'll see the status in verification.
3. Your listing is paused
Did you click Pause yourself in your dashboard? Then your listing is temporarily hidden. This is a deliberate choice: your remaining time simply stays put until you click Resume.
4. Your listing has expired
Has your plan's term ended and you didn't have enough credits for auto-renewal? Then your listing drops back or stops being shown. Check your credits and plan in your dashboard.
5. Required information is missing
Without at least one photo, your listing can't be published. Also check that other required fields (such as category, title, description, and location) are fully filled in.
Checklist to get your listing live
- Check whether your identity has already been verified. If not, submit your documents.
- Complete the full listing wizard through step 5.
- Check that at least one photo has been added.
- Make sure your listing isn't accidentally paused.
- Check your plan and credit balance if your listing has expired.
- Still not visible? Get in touch via Contacting support.
Good to know
Once everything is in order, your listing automatically appears in search results. You don't need to activate anything extra. Unsure about your status? You'll always find it at the top of Managing your listing in your dashboard.
