Managing your email and password

Your email address and password are the key to your account. In this article, we explain how to confirm your email address, what to do if a confirmation email doesn't arrive, and how to reset or change your password.

Confirming your email address

After creating your account, we send a confirmation email to the address you provided. Just click the link in that email and your address is confirmed right away. This is a standard step that ensures we can always reach you about important things regarding your account.

Didn't receive a confirmation email?

First, check your spam or junk folder: confirmation emails sometimes end up there by accident. Not there either? You can easily have the confirmation email resent from your account. Also double-check that you entered your email address correctly during registration; a small typo is the most common reason an email doesn't arrive.

Forgot your password?

Everyone forgets a password now and then, no worries. Using the "forgot password" feature on the login page, you can easily set a new one:

Click the "forgot password" link on the login screen.
Enter your email address.
You'll receive an email with a link to set a new password.
Choose a new, strong password, and you can log back in right away.

This link is personal and designed to quickly and safely get you back into your account.

Changing your password

Just want to update your password, for example because it's been a while since you last changed it? You can do this at any time from your account settings. Enter your current password, choose a new one, and confirm the change. Done!

Tips for a strong password

Use a password that's at least a good mix of words or characters. The longer and more unique, the better.
Combine letters, numbers, and symbols, and avoid obvious combinations like your name or date of birth.
Don't reuse a password you also use on other websites.
Store your password somewhere safe, for example in a password manager.

Good to know

You don't just use your email address to log in. You also use it to receive important notifications, such as updates about your verification or your listing. So make sure the address on your account is always correct and active.
