Adding photos and videos

Good photos and videos make the difference between a listing that stands out and one that gets scrolled past. Below, we explain how uploading works, what you should know about watermarking and preview frames, and share tips to show your listing at its best.

Uploading photos and videos

You can upload multiple photos and videos at once during step 4 of your listing. Simply drag them into the upload field, or pick them from your files. Once added, you can easily drag to reorder them. The first photo is usually the one visitors see first in search results, so choose it deliberately.

Haven't uploaded anything yet? Then your listing shows a neutral placeholder instead of an empty space, so your page still looks tidy.

At least one photo is required

To publish your listing, you need at least one photo. Without a photo, your listing stays incomplete and can't go live, even if your verification is already sorted.

Automatic watermarking

Every photo you upload is automatically given a watermark. This protects your images against unauthorized use elsewhere on the internet. Your content stays recognizable as yours, wherever it turns up. You don't need to do anything for this; it happens automatically on upload.

Videos and preview frames

If you upload a video, the system automatically generates a preview frame that serves as a thumbnail. This gives visitors an instant idea of the content before they hit play.

Tips for attractive, polished photos

Choose good lighting. Natural daylight or a soft lamp often works wonders. Avoid harsh shadows or a too-dark room.
Vary your angles and outfits. A mix of close-ups and full-body shots gives visitors a more complete picture.
Keep the background calm. A tidy, neutral setting lets you stand out as the subject.
Quality over quantity. A few sharp, well-lit photos work better than ten blurry ones.
Stay tasteful. Keep descriptions and images neutral and professional: that builds trust with visitors.
Update regularly. Recent photos give a more honest and current picture of yourself.

Good to know

You can adjust your photos and videos at any time via Managing your listing in your dashboard: add new ones, change the order, or remove old ones. Changes are visible immediately once your listing is live.
